Join the Friends of St. Mary of Providence!
Our organization is essential support dedicated to providing assistance to the Sisters of St. Mary of Providence
who care for the mentally disabled adults in their care.
The Friends and Family of
St. Mary of Providence philosophy of support is to constructively and creatively utilize time and talents of those who respond to the call to volunteer.
Those with professional skills or specialized expertise, or just want
to be a part of this community
are always welcome.
It is personally gratifying and emotionally meaningful to assist those
of special needs.
Our volunteers have the inner knowledge and satisfaction knowing they’ve
made a real difference!
Volunteer participants may range in age from teens to senior citizens.
The volunteer opportunities vary and we strive to constrictively utilize the time and talents of our volunteers.
Our wide range of
volunteer opportunities includes:

*Assist in the décor committee of the annual dance. Putting together various aspects of the décor used for the
once a year formal dinner dance.
*Attend general meeting and contribute ideas and talents for upcoming events.
*Some volunteers choose to share their professional expertise by serving in advisory capacities, as a member of the board of directors or
on other board committees.
*Your gift can be financial support or material items or simply
your time and talents.
